Replace defective parts and conduct system upgrades. Software Troubleshooting & Installation Install, configure, and update operating systems and common software applications. Remove malware, viruses, and troubleshoot system performance issues. Ensure proper data backup and recovery procedures. Customer Support & Service Provide technical support to internal staff or external clients, both onsite and remotely. Maintain detailed repair records and service logs. Explain repair issues and solutions in a clear, professional manner. Preventive Maintenance Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on computer systems. Recommend upgrades and improvements to enhance performance and security. Inventory & Documentation Manage spare parts inventory and request supplies when needed. Document repair procedures, test results, and troubleshooting steps. Basic Qualifications Associate degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco preferred). Proven experience as a Computer Technician, IT Support, or similar role. Solid knowledge of hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking basics. Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
